POSITION SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Compliance Administrator is responsible for modeling the 3 Company values of Compassion, Integrity, and Excellence, and for promoting compliance, communication and follow up for the Human Resources department. The HRCA plays a critical role in managing the logistics of key HR processes in hiring and candidate flow. This person works heavily with the background screening, HRIS system, Applicant Tracking system, background check vendor, and other HR-related processes and has an overall organized, personable, but analytical demeanor. An exceptional HRCA is customer-centric and has remarkable attention to detail. Core responsibilities may include reporting and analytics, effectively and efficiently entering new hires in to the HRIS system, managing the external job posting process, performing background checks for company and state-specific requirements, and other on-boarding processes. This person is also an excellent relationship builder and builds rapport with internal leaders and candidates. The HRSA has the ability to successfully accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously, while being extraordinarily organized with effective time management skills.

The HRCA will be based in the Brentwood, TN home office for Hospice Compassus and will ideally have 5+ years’ experience in a customer-service driven environment with a strong preference for human resources or talent acquisition experience. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, however exceptional experience will be considered. Additionally, the HRCA must have outstanding communication, organization, time management and customer service skills. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Manage the open requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System for most recent updates, reporting and postings to external job boards.
  • Initiates background pre-employment checks, including state-specific checks for Colleagues and volunteers as well as OIG/GSA and SSA checks.
  • Ensures receipt of all offer letters from hiring managers and uploads in to the HRIS system.
  • Hires all Colleagues, Contractors and Volunteers in to the HRIS system and enters compensation from the offer letters.
  • Sends link to WOTC tax credit link to all new Colleagues via email.
  • Works as a back-up to the HRIS Manager and cross-trains tasks and work processes.
  • Manages recruitment applicant tracking system for new hiring managers. Trains new managers how to open requisitions, view candidates and overall hiring process flow.  Ensures information and process flow is up-to-date and communicated.
  • Administers SSA and OIG checks online.
  • Maintains and ensure new Colleague paperwork and documentation required for creation of personnel files is collected for Springfield, Brentwood and leaders (Executive Directors and Regional leaders) housed in Brentwood for document management.
  • Communicates with the IT department to initiate equipment ordering for new Colleagues, as appropriate.
  • Maintenance of Home Office Personnel Files and internally audit periodically.
  • Assist with providing documentation requested by Programs that is needed during state audits.
  • Prepare, track, and report on metrics and measurements to help Human Resources team.
  • Assist in execution of all pre-hire activities including collection of documents at Brentwood office.
  • Produce ad-hoc HR reports to track open positions and other metrics as needed.
  • Act as helpdesk for Applicant Tracking System and backup helpdesk for HRIS system.
  • Send assessments to potential candidates.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, however, exceptional experience will be considered.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
  • Intermediate to expert knowledge of working with web/computer-based applications (Microsoft Office) and ability to learn tasks in HR related applications.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively in a matrix team, high attention to detail, and the ability to think critically.
  • Self-motivated, an excellent team player with the ability to manage multiple customers.

Language Skills

Ability to write professional business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of Talent Acquisition team, candidates, hiring managers, and the general public.


Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office.


Other Qualifications

Strong organization, interpersonal, and communications skills. Possess strong written and verbal communication skills. History of success as a team member on project deliverables. History of meeting assignment deadlines. Must be professional and use sound judgment.
